Peanut-butter and Jelly Shoes!

Since the last post about Red Fox shoes did so well and had a lot of feedback, I've been pressed to do something else from her shop. There is so much from the shop of Em & Sprout to cover, I'll just keep it in my back pocket whenever I can't find certain shoes to feature.

Yes, these are peanut-butter and jelly shoes! Black Mary Janes to be precise, but just look at them! One piece of bread for each foot, each with cute eyes, adorable dimples, and stitched smiles, all handmade. These little things are only $24 (not including shipping). These shoes will help you start the day right the moment you put their smiling faces on your feet.

Red Fox Shoes

Originally looking for the Banana Peel shoes, I found something that just caught my eye and I know several people who would wear it. These are the Red Fox shoes. A cute fox face embroidered and attached to a red show, it combines comfort and adorableness in a striking color. Yes, everyone will be staring at you and compliment your shoes when wearing these. How can they not?! Just look at its adorable face! It reminds me of pabu...

Anyways, they are red mary jane style shoes with rubber soles and a fox face. Hand made with much care and adorableness, these are just many of the shoes that Lindsay makes on her Etsy shop; Em & Sprout. These shoes are on sale for $28 (not including shipping), and would cheer up any girl and have her float of the ground from cuteness.

Buy them and browse the rest of the shop here!

Firday Feature: Steampunk Heels

Friday Feature, where I bring you interesting shoes from across the internet, or ebay, that are unqiue, creative, and just plain awesome.

Now this week we feature a Steampunk/Goth style Pump and Heel combination. The price comes out to about $110 (not including shipping) and there is only 19 left in stock! The price is actually reasonable, as far as steampunk items go. Whether at fairs, internet shops, or at stores, Steampunk gear/clothing is an expensive interest, but will last (as long as you repair any pieces that fall off from wear).

This heel is brown leather with a number of interesting metal studs. The screws along the sides of the shoe accent well with Steampunk's knack for amazing buckles and always-apparent gears. The pointed studs on the back brings in a goth element to this piece and is great for "playfully" poking people. What catches my eye is the bolt used as the heel, which is something I absolutely love when shoes have a unique spin on the heel.

Check it out, read about it, then hopefully buy it here: METROPOLIS HADES STEAMPUNK GOTH PLATFORM SHOES PUMPS HEELS

Reaper-30 Buckle Boot

Demonia Reaper-30

One of my personal favorites of boots from gothic apparel, this one from the wonderful company of Demonia. These boots features 7 metal plate buckles, steel toed, is screwed industrial soled with a 1.5 inch sole, a zip-up side, and is a knee high boot of durable black leather. This is an extraordinary shoe that boldly states your goth and unwillingness to conform, and the fact that this boot combined with any leather jacket or trench-coat will make you look badass.

Now these shoes are made of real leather, that means you will have to spend a good deal of time breaking them in. They will squeak, and they will feel like leg braces when you first wear them, but the payoff is worth it. I have plenty of reviews from people how they have had these boots for years, and they aren't event scratched and still look new. Remember, goth clothes (major brands anyways) are made to last. With proper leather/boot care, this pair of leg armor will last you for years to come.

Now, they can be a little pricey ranging from about $180 in store (without tax) and up to $300 online, but the longevity and badass-ery will be well worth it.  If looking for a great addition for your goth ensemble, want new biker boots, or just need leg armor to wear to a metal concert, then get these boots!

Pick them up on Amazon here, or if you live in Southern CA and/or are willing to make a trip, you can buy them in-store from the legendary Ipso-Facto in Fullerton, CA.
